<p>A: You can try free classified and safelists, but they are generally useless for marketing. You get what you pay for. While they worked in the early days of the Internet when people were looking for things to look at, most people are so inundated nowadays with more information than they can handle that these methods have lost their effectiveness.</p>
<p>Ezines work fine if you either publish an article or pay for top sponsor ads. Don&#8217;t bother with the classifieds at the end of the newsletter &#8211; few people get around to reading them. A classified ad with middle placement is marginally better.</p>
