Podcast Workshop

Thursday I attended the Podcast Secrets workshop with Paul Colligan and Alex Mandossian. You’ll recall that Paul and I collaborated on the Podcast with Jeanette product.

The workshop was excellent. How was it different from Podcast with Jeanette? 

While our product gives you the step-by-step instruction on every aspect you need to get your podcast out to your audience, the Secrets workshop concentrates on how to monetize your podcast.

The only technical part of the day was watching Paul and Alex as they recorded their weekly podcast live in front of the audience. And while there was some equipment and a few technical things that Paul did (Alex is not technical!) it looked pretty simple. If you can talk, you can podcast – truly!

Bottomline: If you’re going to be in Orlando this week, plan to attend Podcast Secrets on Thursday.

And one more thing: they offered this workshop free to those of us who wanted to attend. Why? They are testing the content, flow, and presentation for a multiple week teleseminar series on the same stuff. If you do teleseminars, testing in front of a live audience to get input is a great idea. If you attend seminars, being part of the audience who gets to see it free before it is released to the public is a HUGE boost – you get first advantage and save on the final product!
